Reviews
The main benefit of this hotel is the location, its a short walk away to the charming centre of the town or one of the beaches.
It's supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but the room didn't show it.
-There was mold or water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom.
-The airconditioning sounded like a jackhammer on anything more than the medium setting.
-The noise from other guests was very clear.
-The beds and pillows weren't comfortable.
-The lake view was obscured by their own building
Other things of the hotel are fine, there's a parking garage across the street (tight parking spaces). Breakfast variety and quality is okay. English of the staff is fine.
clean hotel with a nice view. The Staff was very nice and welcoming. The food was excellent, the waiters and waitresses were very nice and made sure everything was okay including Christian who was very friendly and courteous. Definitely coming back!
Room was clean and very comfy. Personal was very nice. At the breakfast you get everything you need. The location and the sea view is ideal.
Now a very big BUT I as a german love my car and the parking gerage is not secured or monitored. I had a bad feeling to park my car there that not okay for a 4 star hotel.
Ok, so we asked for a twin bed with a lake view. Instead, we got a large family apartment with a double bed and bed settee. The view of the lake included the local road, but in essence, we did get what we asked for. The room itself was very nice, clean, and spacious. The bathroom and shower were excellent. The facilities included a kettle, fridge, sink, kitchen utensils, breakfast bar, air con,and a TV. However, the air con was awkward to use, and there were no instructions on how to use it. The TV had no English channels whatsoever, and when netflix and Co were in German or Italian. We did point this out to reception several times, but they were unable to do anything about it. The hotel is not quite lakeside, there is still a long, but not steep, hill to negotiate before you reach the shore. The food was excellent and there are absolutely no complaints here. I would recommend going half-board as the evening meal is superb(be quick to grab a slice of cake beforehand as the Germans nick them all😅). The hotel facilities include two pools(both freezing) indoors and outdoors, its own minimart, sun lounge areas, several bars, and the wellness centre, which includes a sauna, steamroom and a hot-tub. The staff are polite, friendly, and very professional, especially the bar, dining, and cleaning staff. However, one of the areas where this hotel needs tweaking is its lack of information, especially for its British customers. The reception staff were, at times, rather vague and had difficulty in understanding our needs, although they were always polite. Also, at night there isn't much in the way of entertainment. During our weekly stay, only one night fearured a singer to entertain the guests.
Booked months in advance, I get a cancellation via my travel agency literally two days before we wanted to leave for Lake Garda. Reading all the reviews where people complained about the hotel's horrific booking management (cancellation while standing at the reception or very short notice), I had the travel agency follow up and confirm our reservation a few weeks ago - which they did. Apparently the Hotel is absolutely incapable of managing its capacities in a professional manner. How was my stay? Cannot tell, never made it to the front door, and surely will never reattempt.
The view from the balcony of the hotel was worth the little bit of extra money and the balcony we had was larger than expected. It didn't catch much of the sun though. The hotel was clean roomy and we ate our fill every day. No entertainment and TV as the channels are aimed at Italians and Germans but with a location like this who misses TV? A short pleasant walk from the shoreline the town centre and a hill climb that starts easy but you soon need you climbing shoes.
Great location with a more than nice view. Service is on the same level by the great staff members. Room was okay but the bed was absolutely horrible.
Very basic bedroom, couldnt charge bar drinks to room or pay with card. Location excellent and large supermarket underneath
